An unfortunate and quick end for Mid-Ohio race at Formula Indy Series for Alexey Savelyev, who started in P12, but got hit from behind in T2.
Savelyev: “I qualified where I expected to qualify, it’s a very tough track for someone like me not entirely familiar with iRacing and also racing with fixed setups, which is kind of not my cup of tea, because I am primarily a setup-dependent driver. But that got thrown away when I got hit from behind in T2 which happens in racing. It’s unfortunate that the car was toasted and if I got out repaired I would be losing 4 laps or more to the leader. I just move on, and hope for a better race next week.”
Next week is the last race before a little break in the series. We will be racing at Long Beach and it will be broadcasted at RaceVerse, just like this race:
