At GRL Grand Endurance League Round 2 at the legendary rFactor track of Toban, Henk-Jan Steneker was about to have a quiet race with his PromixFrost teammate Thijs Bruinen. Thijs retired early in the race though due to his technical problems, but Henk-Jan was racing his own race preparing for a 1 stop and managing his car well. Then drivers started doing mistakes, leader went off and then retired and his rival for position Smirnoff also made a mistake. Then a current championship leader Bezrukov went for his second pit stop and that’s when Henk-Jan managed to overtake him and hit a gap which he was able to hold until the end. A great strategic victory and a second place in the championship so far.
